In order for staff to print from an HP Thin Client, Service Desk must first install the necessary print driver on your device. Once that has been completed, please follow this steps outlined below.
Connect Printer to Thin Client
- Ensure that the printer is connected to the HP Thin Client with the provided USB cable.
Add the Printer to the Thin Client
- Before connecting to your Amazon WorkSpace, from the Thin Client start menu, search for and open Printers & scanners.
- Click + Add a printer or scanner
- Select the printer that appears on the list and click Add device.
Begin Printing
- You can now access your Amazon WorkSpace and begin printing.
- When printing from your WorkSpace, please select the printer option that appears in the list:
- Printer Name - Redirected (HP-XXXXXXXXX)
- Example: Brother HL-L2460DW Printer - Redirected (HP-9CU2P36JQSQG)
Note: Employees must repeat the steps in this guide after each Thin Client reboot.
