Microsoft Authenticator can be utilized by selecting Google Authenticator as a security method in Okta.
Login to Identity Provider
- Login to phtech.okta.com
Navigate to Settings
Follow these steps if you are setting up a secondary security method.
- Click your name at the top of the page, and then click Settings.
- Select Edit Profile
- Login with your password and existing MFA
Setup Security Method: Google Authenticator
- Scroll down to Security Methods > Google Authenticator, and select Set up.
- Note: we will be using Microsoft Authenticator to complete the setup steps in the next section.
Set up Microsoft Authenticator
(Using the Google Authenticator option in Okta)
- If you don't already have it, search the app store and download "Microsoft Authenticator" to your device.
- Follow the prompts on your personal device to complete the setup.
