All employees are provisioned with a Providence (providence.org) account in addition to their primary Ayin organizational account. Your Providence account is specifically designated for accessing Providence email and HR systems. Additionally, it may occasionally be used for collaboration with other Providence teams. With this in mind, this guide is intended to outline the ways in which an Ayin employee can use their Providence account on an Ayin IT system.
Microsoft 365 (M365) Documents
- This includes various Providence M365 resources such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Providence cybersecurity has restricted Ayin user accounts to "frontline" access, which limits our ability to view and edit Providence M365 content only within the online portal.
- The Providence online My Apps portal can be accessed through Okta.
Providence Account in Ayin Microsoft Office 2016 Applications
- Employees cannot sign into their Providence account in Ayin's Microsoft Office 2016 applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- This access is restricted due to the "frontline" license outlined above.
- Additionally, Ayin systems and Microsoft Office 2016 are not designed to support sign-in with an online Microsoft account.
