Ayin staff are encouraged to use SharePoint instead of the “X Drive” whenever possible. You can achieve a similar experience by syncing any SharePoint site to your Windows File Explorer sidebar. Once synced, the SharePoint site and its files are easily accessible from your Windows desktop, much like the X Drive.
The example below shows how a user can sync their department’s SharePoint site (or any other SharePoint site). Once synced, all files are accessible in Windows File Explorer just like files on the X Drive.
Sync a SharePoint Documents Library
- In your web browser, open any SharePoint documents library
- Easily locate a documents library using the SharePoint Directory.
- Select Sync
That's it! The SharePoint documents library will now appear in your Windows File Explorer side bar under Ayin Health Solutions.
