Beginning 7/1/2025, Okta Verify will be required in order to sign in phtech.okta.com. This guide will walk you through setting up Okta Verify for the first time on your existing account.
Install the "Okta Verify" App
- From the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, search for "Okta Verify".
- Download and install the "Okta Verify" app.
- Once the Okta Verify app is installed on your device, return to your computer to complete the next steps.
Navigate to phtech.okta.com from your computer
- Sign in using the username and password as you normally would.
- From the Okta Homepage where your CIM and Genesys Cloud apps are located, click your name in the top right corner of the page, and select "Settings" from the drop down.
- Locate the "Security Methods" section of the Settings screen, and click "Setup" next to the Okta Verify Option.
- You will be presented with a QR Code that you will scan with your cell phone in the next step.
Open the Okta Verify app on your mobile device/cell phone and select "Add Account"
- For account type, select "Organization".
- When asked "Do you have your QR code?", select "Yes, Ready to Scan".
- Use your phone to scan the QR code on your computer screen.
- We recommend enabling notifications for the Okta Verify app when prompted.
- On your computer's internet browser, click "finish" to complete the process.

Going forward, when you log in to phtech.okta.com, you’ll receive a push notification in the Okta. Verify app. Approve the prompt to complete your sign-in.
